Residency & Citizenship in Argentina
A path to citizenship in 2 years, a strong visa-free passport and the gateway to Latin America — under one advisory roof.
Why Argentina?
Argentina has one of the fastest citizenship paths in the world: constitutionally, just 2 years of legal residence. Its strong passport (visa-free/visa-on-arrival to 170+ countries), acceptance of dual citizenship and low cost of living make it attractive.
Residence Routes
The most common categories are rentista (regular income), pensionado (retirees), investor and work residence. Each provides a DNI (national ID) and banking access.
Transition to Citizenship
After two years of legal residence, citizenship is applied for through the federal court. Resida Global manages category selection, apostille/translation, residence and the court process end to end.

الأسئلة المتكررة
Is citizenship really possible in 2 years?
The constitutional rule is 2 years of legal residence. In practice the court process may add time; proper preparation is key.
Do I need to speak Spanish?
Basic communication and ties to the country are expected; there is no strict formal exam, but the process is in Spanish.
Can my family also naturalize?
Yes; spouse and children follow the same path via dependent residence. A child born in Argentina is automatically a citizen.
